The agenda this month includes an overview of a Home Assistant multi-room media player, and a review and demo of Proxmox Virtual Environment, an open-source virtualization platform that can host home automation solutions. There will also be our usual open discussion!

The agenda this month includes a review of the Home Assistant Community Day event last month, and a demo of the Node Red automation programming environment. There will also be our usual open discussion!

The next meeting of HACRR will take place on May 18, 2025, at the Baca Center in downtown Round Rock, starting at 1:30 pm. The agenda this month includes a comparison of different wireless protocols, lead by Griff. Come learn pros, cons, and best practices for your Wi-Fi, Zigbee, BLE, and Matter wireless networks. We’ll also talk briefly about plans for the upcoming Home Assistant Community Day. The Austin meetup will be at Celis Brewery between 2:00 and 4:00 on May 24. There will also be our usual open discussion!

There is no meeting this month, since the third Sunday of April falls on Easter, and our meeting location is closed that day. See you on May 18th!
